NSW North Coast now have a permanent screening
facility in Tweed Heads, offering free screening
all year round. Appointments are also availble
on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings. All
women over 40 are eligible, however women aged
50 to 69 years are actively encouraged to attend
for screening. Phone 13 20 50 for an appointment.
There
is plenty of open space to swim but remember
to only swim between the red and yellow
flags at the beach...just ask the locals
if you are unsure.
The red and yellow
flags indicate the safest place to swim
when lifeguards and lifesavers patrol beaches.
